Beginning with Lower School field trips to theater and museums in and around the Phoenix Valley, Tesseract believes that experiential travel offers students more than they could ever learn in a classroom.
In Middle School, Tesseract begins conducting long distance class trips. Fifth and Sixth graders travel to San Francisco and Seventh and Eighth graders travel to Washington D.C. area. All Tesseract trips are tied into the school’s curriculum and recognized as enriching adventures.
Tesseract’s class trips help students recognize real-world uses for study and learning encouraging them to develop an ethical connection to the local and international communities — including a sense of environmental responsibility — and to prepare them for success in an increasingly globalized world.
